Mamaga Ametor Hoebuadzu II

Paramount Queen of Alavanyo Traditional Area and A Member of the Traditional Council.

Join me take you on a journey of my stewardship.

What I do

Below are the thematic areas under which my projects fall in uplifting the lives of the people I lead in Alavanyo.

01.

Education

Education been a great propeller for a brighter future, I am very much interested in stepping up efforts in ensuring that children in my area have full access to quality education and adequate literacy and numeracy skills in line with SDG Goal 4.

02.

Peace

Without peace, stability, human rights, and justice we cannot hope for sustainable development. The level of insecurity in Alavanyo has a destructive impact on our development. As a student of conflict resolution, I work significantly to maintaining peace and justice among my women to find lasting solutions to conflict and insecurity in our community as the focus of SDG Goal 16.

03.

Health

As a mother, I feel the pains of every woman. In lieu of this, I have been working to reduce maternal mortality, preventable deaths of newborns and children under 5yrs of age and how to end the epidemics of AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria, water-borne diseases and other communicable diseases in line with achieving SDG Goal 3.

04.

Welfare

I strive to find strategies to reduce the level of poverty with my women. I identify and target people including teenage mothers living in poverty and give them skills training. The aim is to help them live a sustained independent life and also return to school if they wish to. I also advocate for their participation in local government. This is guided at achieving SGD Goals 1&8.
