Mamaga Ametor Hoebuadzu II Donates Essential Medical Equipment to Alavanyo Dzogbedze Clinic.

June 30, 2025, Alavanyo Dzogbedze — The Paramount Queen of Alavanyo, Mamaga Ametor Hoebuadzu II, has once again shown her unwavering dedication to community welfare by contributing vital medical supplies and equipment to the Alavanyo Dzogbedze Clinic, a meaningful step to improve healthcare delivery in the Alavanyo Traditional Area.

On Monday, June 30, 2025, the donation was made in direct response to a request the clinic made in 2022, which comes after Mamaga donated some medical supplies and equipment to the Alavanyo Dzogbedze clinic to improve access to high-quality healthcare.

An ENT touch light, a delivery bed, an examination lamp, ward screens, stethoscopes, digital and anaeroid sphygmomanometers, delivery sets, a baby weighing scale, and other furniture to support clinic operations are among the 23 categories of essential medical equipment included in this recent contribution.

On behalf of the clinic officer, more than thirty (30) separate items were delivered to Mr. Charles K. Azagba, the Municipal Health Director.

Speaking at the event, Mamaga reaffirmed her commitment to enhancing the health and well-being of the Alavanyo community.

“Access to healthcare is a fundamental right. As the land’s mother, I have to make sure that everyone in our community has access to the best care available,” she stated.

Noting that obtaining the donated medical equipment through lobbying was not a simple task, Mamaga urged the community to handle it carefully. She underlined how crucial it is to use the resources to provide the Alavanyo community with quality healthcare and enhance the quality of life.

“Let’s preserve what we have and use it to improve our health services.” She said.

Mamaga also tasked the Alavanyo Dzogbedze Unit Committee with the responsibility of collaborating closely with the nurses and Queen (Mothers) to encourage community vaccination awareness and uptake. She underlined the significance of planning frequent outreach events, informing the public about the efficacy and safety of vaccines, and clearing up myths. She thinks the community can enhance maternal and child health outcomes by working together.

“We will work together to create a more informed, empowered, and healthy Alavanyo,” she said.

Mr. Azagba promised that the equipment would be used effectively to benefit the residents of Dzogbedze and surrounding communities and thanked Mamaga for her continued support of the health care delivery in the community.

“We are grateful for the equipment, which we have been longing for, and this donation arrives at a crucial moment. These are crucial resources that will improve the way we provide maternity services and guarantee that our mothers and babies receive the best care possible. We remain appreciative and pledge to protect the tools and supplies,” he said.

Also present at the ceremony were the Unit Committee Chairman and Assembly Member for the area, who commended Mamaga for her vision:

“On behalf of the entire electoral area, we commend Mamaga for listening to our plea and acting decisively.” Mamaga has an unrivalled passion for the community. True development results from this type of leadership. She remains a beacon of hope.”

Traditional leaders, including the Fiator of Dzogbedze and his elders, along with sub-divisional Queens from Dzogbedze and Wudidi, attended the event in a show of appreciation.

“Our culture values those who remember their roots. Mamaga has not only been remembering but is nurturing her people with action,” said the Fiator.

The event concluded with prayers for Mamaga’s long life, continued wisdom, and strength to continue her developmental efforts across the Alavanyo Traditional Area.
